Well that its, I have made the last change to Windows Aero Messenger and the skin is at last complete..... sort of. Whilst the skin may be complete, it still has to go through the localization process which may take a few days. Anyway the skin will be having its options panel translated to a few languages just so more people can enjoy the skin.

So am I setting a date for this skin? The best I can do is give a vague release date as I am not sure how long this localization process will take. The skin should be out within a week, maybe less. Whilst the localization is going on I will be running final tests and maybe polishing things up here and there.

But as it is right now the skin works really well and is something that I'm sure will do really really well. It certainly beats the other vista skins

I'm not going to go into any details of what new things this skin will have, but rest assured there will be more than enough to play with and literally thousands of combinations of what one can do with the skin. Anyway stay tuned to this page as the release of this skin should be soon!

Sorry for the newbie question but what is the localisation process?

localization is preparing something for a particular region of the world, its what most game companies argue is their reason for delays in Australia and Europe. So its pretty much translating

Oi... But then...ours focuses on different parts of Vista.

yeah i meant it as a joke so don't take it personally,

essentially this is probably the first vista skin that doesn't use vista wallpapers as a background (which is something that I don't really like )

Well, Willz has handed copies to a few lucky Plus! beta testers, and being one of them, I must say that this skin is beyond cool. The features available are amazing, and everything just fits together quite nicely. When Willz said theme generator, I thought it was just a few customizing features. Nope, not the case at all. You can literally make your own unique theme out of the skin. You mix and match and find what suits you best.

I've never seen anything quite like it. This theme is beyond anything seen in Plus! skinning (hell, with any other type of skinning I've seen myself) so far. This is one skin that goes to make everything work nicely. It even makes Stuffplug's timezone feature fit in with the rest.

There's quite a bit more to say, but I'll leave some surprises for when you actually get your hands on this wonderful piece of artwork. Just for that, I'll even hold back on posting screenshots .
