Well its finally here. The Ultimate vista skin. This skin was built as a theme generator so there is much to play with. Anyway this thread is just going to cover the features of Windows Aero Messenger. By the way for all of those looking for an Ad remover for the skin just check out the downloads section since I didn't bundle one with the skin.
Global theme:
You can change from Windows Aero Messenger to Vista Live Messenger using the global theme setting. Its really simple but it affects a lot of the other settings in the skin.
Style:
Once the global theme is selected you can then pick one of 11 sub styles. So with both global themes thats 22 possible sub styles. The themes are as follows (screenshots coming soon!)
WINDOWS AERO MESSENGER SUB STYLES
Vista Dark - This themes tries to simulate the Windows Vista glass effect for dark desktops. If you combine this theme with Messenger Plus! transparency it almost looks like real glass. Its about as close you will get.
Vista Light - A lighter glass effect. Same as above
Vista Basic - No glass effect, just a Windows Aero basic styled frame. Don't forget to change the frame button style to Aero Basic!
Luna Evolution - Tries to match some of the modernized Luna themes on the internet. No fancy glass effects here either.
Longhorn Forever - Ah what could have been. Longhorn slate is a style that was loved back in the day. Relive the love with this frame style and remember to switch the other settings over to longhorn as well!
Xbox Dark - For the dark xbox 360 users. A nice black theme with a green glow to it. Remember to turn on all the other xbox settings!
Xbox Light - For those xbox users that like the lighter things in life.
Zune Dark - The original Zune look was black. Suits people with black visual styles
Zune Light - The new zune software is all white, so this style reflects that.
Windows Live Messenger Dark Remix - takes the Default Windows Live Messenger look and gives it a whole new feeling. Based on the contact list dark blue color.
Windows Live Messenger Light Remix - Same as the dark remix only it uses the lighter chat window colors.
