Design Evolved Community Forum

Well it has been a really interesting week hasn't it? I released 3 major skins in a timespan of about 4 days which left most of you having a hard choice about which skin to use. So the month of March is now nearly over and I am pretty happy with how it went in terms of releases. So now that the skins are out some may be asking "so what's going to happen now?".

Well like I said earlier, skins will be coming out a lot faster rate than ever (in fact I've already had a few comments on how insane March was). Anyway April will prove to be an even better month than March was with more skins coming out.

So what exactly do I have planned? Well thats for me to know and for you guys to find out. But I will say this: if people were fans of Iron Man's unique style and shape, then they are going to love what I have planned for April. For those who are into the simple skins like Horton and Sweeny Todd, well you guys will be getting some stuff as well (probably sooner than the advanced stuff). I do have some more homegrown designs, but I am not sure if these will be coming out in April or later on.

Design Evolved is starting to pick up in numbers which is really great to see and for those that love skins well this is the place to be as I post my progress on certain skins frequently and I am around to help those that need it. I am looking at the possibility of making Design Evolved a group of skinners (much like how the original Messenger Lab was) but I haven't really thought that out too far just yet .

Anyway April should be a really awesome month for skins so if you thought you saw great stuff in March, well you ain't seen nothing yet!

Mind if you work on the Skinning Guides? I want to read more issues!

yes i too would like more skinning guides to read so i can get to work on improving my skin, i can only go so far with my skin at present.

i am planning options for leeting users set colours of scrollbars, signin animation, default dp, dp borders, navigation buttons etc, however my problem is do i make one options and force users to have all these things in the same colour or do i put developement of my skin literally on hold until plus gives us the ability to make tabbed options panels at which point ill then have a way to manage space in my options panel to fit in options to control these elements individually?

if i wait then i need something else to be getting on with like learning from the guides so if you can release another one soon thatd be greatly appreciated.
