Ok so I lied

I said the next Windows Aero Messenger update would occur once the German and Dutch translations were in but I guess its not the case. I am releasing a minor update which fixes a few of the issues that happened in 2.0.0. The German and Dutch languages are now slated for 2.0.2 (whenever that is.)

Anyway the change log is as follows:

v2.0.1

+Fixed resource groups on certain themes, should now load correctly
+Fixed up old vista live messenger resources
+Fixed toolbar icons in 919 browsers
+Fixed gleam removal in contact list

Like I said its a small change, so an update is only necessary if you want any of the stuff outlined in the change log. Anyway all you have to do is just download and install it over the top of the old one, no need to uninstall first.

- "clean ads." option
- "hide search bar" (wordwheel) option.

this is a good skin its the first time i have really played around with it to get it to something i like by configuring the options. i am still not exactly sure what half those options actually do but hey.

I'm having problems with this skin, it doesn't work at all. It says it's installed successfully, but then when MSN restarts, it's just the default WLM skin.

before we try anything else can you please check what version of messenger you are running and what version of plus your running, WAM 2.0.1's requirements are as follows.

Windows Live Messenger: 8.5 Only
Messenger Plus! Live: 4.6 Only

if your not using those builds then please go to the programs website and download the latest versions then let us know if that fixed it.

Yes, I was using v 8.5 and 4.6. So I decided to try uninstalling Plus!, downloading it again, and then re-downloading the skin ...and it worked!

Now the ads are left, but... the searchbar continues on the main window.

It will be good if the developer add the option for hiding the searchbar (at this moment we've the options for mantain it on top or bottom of the main window).
