i cant get it to import at all, if i extract the files through winzip and copy paste the folder into the plus! skins directory it will work fine but you just cant actually import from the actual plsk.

Well, if when you excracted there was a folder, that was the problem. Tha means Willz unpacked it correctly.
Again, i repeat: IF the extracted file is a folder [I don't know if I'm according to the grammar... I'm poor with conditionals =( )

well i honestly dont know what the problem is only that for whatever reason the skin doesnt function as it should, i should be able to import the skin pack by just running the file but for some as yet unknown reason thats not possible, maybe its the skin itself, or maybe or maybe 4.60.326 of messenger plus is the root cause who knows.

The problem is that, the main root is a folder and has no .xml, at least the file you downloaded.

That isn't the problem because he is downloading the same file everyone else has downloaded and he is the only one getting an issue. Everyone else has been able to import and apply the skin with no problems. The .plsk has been constructed properly because if it wasn't then everyone would be getting the issue.

What stuart is experiencing sounds like a plus bug more than anything else. To be honest I've never had it happen to me so I wouldn't know a fix.

I've already had that problem... reinstalled plus! and it worked nice again

i have reinstalled both plus and messenger and neither had any effect. upon further testing i have discovered that i cannot import any of the skins in the database at all so have posted a support thread on the plus forums.
