Well it's happened, Messenger 9 has gone final something I didn't think was going to happen until next month. With this release comes some good news, according to the good people at liveside, the RC build we have been using is indeed the final version of 9. So what does this mean? Well it means the work we have been doing for the RC build was not a waste and nothing is going to change again (at least not until the next version of Messenger 
).
This means that developers can move full steam ahead on getting addons and patches going again. In terms of skins, I can say that things are looking good at the moment and whilst I haven't laid my hands on anything new yet I can assure you I will be getting back into things soon. Its pretty much as soon as the missing piece of the puzzle falls into place, that being Messenger Plus! Live.
Whilst Patchou has been really quiet about things for the past two months this does not mean things have not been moving along. I know for a fact that he has been working harder than ever to bring back the addon that we all know and love. Patchou being Patchou will always be cryptic about releases so people shouldn't think he is just sitting there doing nothing. It's quite the opposite.
Anyway just thought I'd point this out so people know that I'm still around and keeping up to date with things in the Messenger community. Stay tuned.
