Well guys after a lot of hard work I am proud to bring you an update to one of the most popular Messenger skins to exist. Ev0 was my first original messenger skin and it has still stuck around all these years and still remains to be one of the best.

So whats new in Ev0 4?

Well for starters it has been updated to work on Windows Live Messenger 2009. Although it wasn't the first skin to hit 2009, I still consider it to be the first complex skin

Anyway the skin has be made from scratch and I have introduced a new system to mix scenes, frame colors and colorization together to give a lot of flexibility in the design.

Users can pick from 64 window frame colors, then blend that with their scene and finally colorize the Ev0 buttons to suit their tastes. Ev0 also features some of the settings that was introduced into Sopair including adding a 3rd display picture to the chat window, and moving around the layout to suit your tastes.

One IMPORTANT thing to note guys though is that Ev0 4 is ONLY compatible with Messenger 2009. This is simply because Ev0 4 relies on things that do not exist in Messenger 8.5.

Very nice, I'll install this in a second . One thing I wonder is if the ad thingy () for Ev0 in the downloads section works with version 4. Thanks in advance, and good luck with further skinning (Phunk'n for 9 maybe? ).

Phunk'n for 9? Still trying to figure that one out. Some of the animation stuff in 9 doesn't really work anymore. So I have to figure out that first before I can make the skin properly. But yeah it will happen, just don't know when. Going to take a small break and catch up on a few personal things first

Absolutely FANTASTIC, huge fan of the status color changes i love it i wasn't really a fan of the other Ev0 versions but this one has got me hooked well worth the wait thanks!

Great news . And yeah, you should take a break, with the first full WLM 9 skin out there, that should keep the masses happy for a while.

The frame is still there, but sometimes it looks how its supposed to be.

It changes sporadically
