This message is mainly for new users that have yet to register on these forums.
Lately, there has been a rediculous influx of spam bots (some of them, for reasons that are completely beyond me, forget to actually link to something). As such, I have decided today that until further notice all registrations will require administrator approval.
As such, any new users can still register the usual way, but their account will not be activated until an administrator approves it.
Sorry for any issues this may cause.
How many times do I have to say this: CAPTCHA. It seems to me like a much better and more efficient way of keeping bots out of here... not to mention faster.
EDIT: Also, why have you guys been simply banning the bots? Why can't you just get rid of all their posts and delete the accounts? The board would be a lot cleaner that way; it doesn't look good having heaps of banned accounts all over the place.

Personally, I'd love CAPTCHA and have been asking for it for a while
. However, and this goes for the rest too, I don't have time for that. It takes quite a bit of time cleaning up after the bots as it is and seeing as I'm the only one doing it, and only in between my busy school schedule, don't expect anything extraordinary

I'll have time this summer as I'm not going to school. I'll take care of cleaning this board up.

While I was at it, I also made you two admins... In case you wanted/ had the time to do something about this mess... Plus, you two needed a promotion anyway

Personal life took its toll again but here I am. I'm finally getting on top of things haha. Thanks for the promotion
. I'm hoping to have more time this summer to work on things myself as well. I'll finally work something like 9-5 Monday-Friday as opposed to 6-7 days a week from 4am till 4:30 pm
