Not bad specs Tongue though 80gb doesn't seem like much hard drive space by todays standards. I'm guessing you don't really want a gamers pc Tongue
Yeah, I have a 300GB HDD and I've filled it up, got a 500GB one on the way for overflow. I couldn't live with only 80GB Tongue
lol tell me about it, I can remember a time when i used to say Surprised "no way! ill never fill up 80gb! that will last me ages". Ahh good times Tongue
I have 160GB and haven't managed to fill it up yet, even with a few games Tongue

Anyhows, what OS are you getting?
Graphics Card - You'll prob need to update to a better on later on if you're after adanvced graphics or gaming.
Memory - You'll need more then 1gb of memory for Vista to perform well.
Hard Drive - You'll need a larger Hard drive for future storage - But 80Gb should do for now.

All in all it should be fine for normal everyday use.

I already have a 60GB PATA drive I can use*, so that adds up to 220GB, which to me seems like (but probably isn't Tongue) more than enough. I wanted a 120GB, but they didn't have one, so...

GFX Card - As long as it plays video on iTunes without stuttering, it's fine. 256MB should be good, and, if ever I decide to go Vista (not likely, unless I hear some really good things about it), Aero should be fine.

Memory - is not a problem if I'm running XP, however if Vista comes into the picture, i'll save up for another gig. A generic stick is $25 at this place...

I use my PC for movies, music, websurfing, Paint.NET (want photoshop Sad got photoshop Smile), skinning and virtualisation (It should go heaps faster actually work if I got this PC).

*I'm a bit worried about this, actually. The case only has two 3.5", two 2.5" (!?) and one 5.25" drive bays, with one of the 3.5"s being taken up by a cardreader, and the other one as the 160GB. I may look into getting a 2.5" 120GB second HDD for media and stuff, but I'll see what happens.
Interesting choice, next pc will be a Dell XPS M1730 Laptop if all goes well *crosses fingers* just waiting to see what the 8800M cost is in itConfused

Why a Laptop and not a desktop ? Because the M1730 isn't really going to be portable since the battery life would be shit even with a 9 Cell Battery.
if you want 8800Ms, get this ;p

Expensive, but look at the specs Rolleyes
