Gerusz Wrote:Great skin, but it has a little bug: if I chose black, white, or any gray color between them, the buttons are instantly colorized red. I guess the reason is that the auto colorization feature is based on the hue and ignores the saturation. Maybe in the next patch you could take it in account, because many people like to keep their desktop and programs as color-free as possible. Until then I'll try to hack it.

Yeah its not really a bug. Its more of a technical limitation.

Its not something that can be fixed on our end. Its just how Messenger behaves now. Colorization has changed how it works. Messenger has detection in place which checks the images dominant color so that it can pick the frame color (at least in the default skin anyway). With custom images this detection is broken and so when you have values like black or white it resets over to the first color in the color wheel (which is red).

The only person that can fix this is the creator of Messenger Plus! since Messenger Plus! tells Messenger how to render the images. No amount of hacking can fix this since Messenger Plus! will always overwrite what is in Messengers DLL's.

I see. Then I'll file this bug, limitation, or whatever to Patchou and hope that he'll fix it in the next patch. Nonetheless, ev0 is still great on my desktop PC (since it has a green-white custom desktop instead of the black-silver customization I use on my notebook).

Thanks
